We hope it will be enjoyable whatever your age\, and whether you join us online or at the meeting house. \n● 10:30: Wanstead Meeting House opens\n● 11 – 12:15 – Morning Activities: Activities and sessions based on the theme (see below)\n● 12:15 – 13:30 – Vegan & Vegetarian Bring & Share Lunch: A bring and share lunch & online chat room\n● 13:30 – 16:30 – JLAM: Meeting for Worship for Business and parallel activities for Children and Young People.\n\n\nCalling Letter\nThe next joint meeting of the 7 area meetings in London will take place on Saturday 12 September at Wanstead Meeting House\, E11 3AU. \nThe business part of JLAM will start at 1.30pm and will be preceded by a morning session beginning at 11am on the theme ‘Maintaining the Beauty and Variety of the World’. \nThe gathering will be both in-person and online and children and young people are especially welcome. DESCRIPTION:The legal process of transitioning to a single Area Meeting – Quakers in London (QiL)\, requires some steps to be taken by current members of London’s Area Meetings. These steps are explained in detail in this Article: Becoming Quakers in London: what do individual friends need to do? \nAt Joint London Area Meeting (JLAM) on Saturday 12 September\, the London Development Group Legal Subgroup will introduce the Articles of Association of Quakers in London and explain about a form that Members need to complete to transition their membership. \nFollowing the JLAM\, there will be a zoom on Monday 14 September 7.30 – 8.30 for Friends who want to discuss the Articles further or who need help filling in their form. \nIf you have questions or need some assistance\, please join us.
