Who’s On Elders & Pastoral Carers Committee?
This Committee is nominated by the AM Nominations Committee from within the body of appointed Elders and Pastoral Friends.
JLAM has appointed the following Friends to serve on EPCC in 2026 :

This committee is responsible for:
- Preparing documents on areas of our responsibiliy (e.g.Membership) for consideration by LAM
- Together with QiLAC, meet with LAM Clerks to prepare for each LAM meeting
- Eldership and Pastoral Care during LAM and subsequently LAM in session, including accompanying applicants for membership while their application is being considered.
- Support to other Elders and Pastoral Friends in LMs (including ensuring that support is provided from outside a LM in times of difficulty).
- Convening gatherings of all Elders and Pastoral Friends from across LAM at least once a year. This may include training, helping to build mutual support groups, responding to ideas for strengthening E and PF work
Accountability
The committee reports to LAM at least once a year. It can send specific minutes to LAM and to Trustees.
