Discovering Quakers Second Annual General Meeting

Friends who are interested in outreach are invited to join in Discovering Quakers’ second Annual General Meeting on Saturday 25th July in person at Peterborough Meeting House and on Zoom.

Discovering Quakers is a grassroots Quaker outreach initiative that helps people who are curious about Quakers find their way in. They promote Quakers across the country through social media, a website, an email newsletter for those who ask questions, weekly online events for seekers, and publishing Quaker books.

The AGM is a great opportunity for anyone interested in Quaker outreach to share their experiences and learn about what Discovering Quakers and others are doing to spread the word about Quakerism. There’ll also be a filmed interview with Craig Barnett, the Local Development Worker for Yorkshire, who will talk about a successful initiative to bring young families to Quakerism. According to the YM26 Patterns of Membership report Yorkshire had the highest number of new attendees in 2025, and this is an opportunity to hear how they did it.
