We invite all Friends – and friends of Friends – to join us on Saturday 25th July 2026 as we march for trans liberation, rights, dignity, and love.
This is the 8th annual grassroots protest march: volunteer-led, non-corporate, and a major demonstration against transphobia, with previous marches drawing tens of thousands of people onto the streets.
Rooted in Britain Yearly Meeting’s Minute 31 (2021), which states “We rejoice in recognising God’s creation in one another. This is what love requires of us,” we will march to show the world that Quakers find that of God in everyone. At a time when trans and non-binary people face escalating hostility in public life, in the press, and in law, we are called to put our bodies where our beliefs are.
This is an invitation to all Friends – trans, non-binary, cisgender, straight, queer – to stand together in visible solidarity. We hope to be joined by members of other faith communities who share this commitment. Showing up in numbers matters. Showing up as people of faith matters.
Please bring banners. Wear your Quaker t-shirts. Let our community be seen.
After the march, we will gather for tea, coffee and worship – a chance to decompress, reflect, and be with one another.
To be added to the WhatsApp group for coordination and updates, please email samwinder900@gmail.com with your number.
This is what love requires of us.
